Aleksey Kozikov is a well-known computer scientist and AI researcher who works on game theory, probabilistic modelling, and AI for strategic games. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and has taken advanced classes in applied mathematics, statistics, and machine learning. Aleksey showed a great talent for math and programming from a young age, winning top spots in both regional and national informatics and math olympiads.
Aleksey's career started with research in mathematical modelling and statistical analysis for complex systems. Later, he focused on creating advanced poker AI. He is a co-founder and lead developer at PokerBotAI, where he has led the development of neural network-based poker bots and real-time advisory systems that use reinforcement learning and large-scale data analysis. His work combines the latest research in artificial intelligence, such as deep learning architectures and genetic algorithms, to help people make better decisions in environments where things can go wrong.
Aleksey is well-known for his work in computational game theory and has worked with teams from different fields to improve the state of AI in online poker. He is interested in multi-agent systems, behavioural modelling, and the moral issues that AI raises in competitive gaming. He speaks both English and Russian well and is an active member of the global AI and poker research communities.
